Activities:
Day 1: Arrival in Camp & Sunset Safari
12:00 PM – Arrive at camp in time for a tasty lunch.
01:00 PM – Check in and unwind by the pool, soaking in the bush surroundings.

Embark on a captivating sunset boat safari along the majestic Rufiji River, outside the park boundary.

7:30 PM – Savour a hearty, family-style dinner.
9:00 PM – Retire to your tent or banda for a restful night sleep.
Day 2: Game Drive & Bush Picnic
6:00 AM – Wake with the chorus of the wild, and enjoy an early breakfast
7:00 AM – Set off for a full-day game drive as you explore the game-rich landscapes of the Nyerere National Park.

Keep a look out for; Elephants, lions, giraffes, perhaps the elusive wild dogs and so much more
10:00 AM – Take a break in the shade for a refreshing tea & coffee.
01:00 PM – Your guide will find a secluded, shaded spot to set up a relaxed bush picnic.

Sit back on a comfy mat surrounded with floor cushions, and tuck into your tasty picnic

Optional: Enjoy a safari snooze in the shade.
03:00 PM – Leisurely make your way back to camp, absorbing the sights and sounds of the wild. Keep a special eye out for cats as they begin to stir in the late afternoon.
05:00 PM – Arrive at camp at dusk, just in time to watch the sun set over the magical Rifiji river.
07:30 PM - Enjoy a final dinner, swapping safari stories with fellow guests.

We have accommodation to suit all budgets; riverside bandas & tents, forest bandas & tents, all with comfortable beds, mosquito nets, and ensuite bathrooms. Then we also have bush tents with separate shared bathrooms. You’ll fall asleep to the sounds of the bush and the Rufiji River.
Yes — power is available in the rooms during generator hours and solar lighting runs through the night. You can charge devices in the main area.
We do have Wi-Fi in the bar area, but signal can be patchy — it’s part of the charm of being off-grid. Enjoy a little digital detox!
No AC — Some rooms have standing fans, or just natural ventilation and the cool evening breeze off the river
